I have always been conscious of my teeth; I had two real problem areas, a tooth that was protruding more and more with age on the top and a lower tooth that was becoming more and more difficult to clean as it was seated further behind the other teeth. I always smiled with my mouth closed for photographs and did not like to show them off at all. I had opted out of a fixed brace in my teens for the obvious reasons and I was told that I would have needed four teeth removing at that time.

I became aware of Invisalign as a colleague at work had started in my department, it took me 6 months to realise that he wore clear braces and was having his teeth straightened. I never believed before this time that Invisalign was so unnoticeable. This prompted me to have a consultation with Tim to see if I was a suitable candidate.

I was fitted for my braces in May 2010 and less than a year later and after a little fine-tuning I have the straight set of teeth that I have always dreamed of.

One of the best parts of wearing my brace is that it means that I don’t snack anymore and as a result I have lost weight and have also grown out of the habit of snacking. A great side effect!

I live in London and Tim and his staff were able to treat me in the evenings, at a time that was convienient for me. The process of the IPR (filing of the tooth) to make room for the teeth to move and the initial first few days of days of wearing a new brace, were painless and not as I expected at all.

I am so happy with the outcome and I am so pleased that I embarked on this treatment, as it has really changed my life!
